"Loved our visit to The Gore! We arrived late to the hotel due to delays with our flight and had to quickly change and head out for a meeting upon our arrival. The front desk was welcoming, accommodating, and efficient during the check-in process. The staff and hospitality was truly 5-star and the morning breakfast is an absolute must! "Sloane Place.... is in the right place! The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"We had a brilliant stay at Vertus for a weekend when we were attending a festival at the O2. It does everything it promises! The rooms are really well equipped with everything you would need to be self sufficient for a weekend and very high quality. We only dropped on point for the fact that although they are double rooms they seem a little more suited to a solo stay - one bar seat for eating meals and the double bed is a little tight if you are used to a king. we really liked that the windows...

"All rooms listed as VIP rooms are handicap accessible with very low bathroom vanities. The entire bathroom floor gets soaking wet after each shower. There is no light above the bathroom vanity. There are no drawers or even shelves for clothing. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again. However the restaurant is fabulous. "

"The location of this hotel was awesome. Walking distance to so many attractions. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The room was clean but quite dated. The staff @ the restaurant were polite & efficient, however the food wasn't very good (cold and poor selection). There are several restaurants within a short walk that served delicious more affordable breakfast and dinners. Overall however I would recommend this hotel. "
