"We were staying for the weekend for our anniversary and got a free upgrade mentioned upon checking in which was a great surprise considering when booking the girl said she would write on the mirror and get some balloons etc to mark the occasion! "Great 2 night stay. Service was superb and food was brilliant. Really good sized portions at pleasing prices. the hotel seems to have had a new lease of life and Jack behind the bar was spot on. I think some themed nights in the bar may drag in some customers and a light over the pool table."
