"Location, location, location. It was amazing and everything was walking distance to where we were. Unfortunately, the hotel was not as great as the listing claimed. The building was old and the rooms were not renovated. Everything - door handles, bathroom fixtures, kitchen faucet, toilet flush, had rust. It looked really grimy that I did a thorough cleaning before I unpacked our things. The magnetic door stopper did not work and we had to use our luggage to prop the doors open. But the...

"Loved the Whitworth Locke Hotel. Location was great - 10 minute walk from the train station and close to many restaurants and easy walk to different museums. Super convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room, and a kitchen. My only critical feedback, which I am pretty sure I read from others, is the room was really dark. Overall I would stay here again, however, that would be the only thing that would give me pause."

"The location could not have been better for our cruise. It is located perfectly next to a very historic section of the city and also within walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The bar/restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and the hotel staff was pleasant and most helpful. We would definitely stay again."
