"The room service was not good. We found ourselves calling multiple times a day to get anything sent to the room, including water, which took 2 days to replenish. Also, we were a group of about 50 people on a wedding event and about 10-15 people got a terrible food poisoning, cuasing vomiting and diarrhea. "We were scheduled to check in at 3 PM, but the staff were so slow that we had to wait 30 minutes at the reception. Conversely, although check-out was at 12 PM, they rushed us into our room at 11 AM. The food was delicious and the pool was nice. However, the water in the overwater villas was dirty and covered in a lot of algae, so you can't swim directly into the sea from your room."

"Me and my wife just travelled to this resort for our honeymoon. This trip was by far the best trip both of us have been on due to the resort. Everything was amazing and looked even better than the pictures!! The only two things we would have liked to have been a little bit better was the reservations for dinner. "No Shuttle service to resort from airport, then purchased a excursion to see pyramids and that was a total waste of money as a bus took us partially way then informed us we had to walk for 45minutes to an hour to the actual pyramids, I couldn't do the walk as it was blazing hot and had to turn around and head back to the bus and wait. Many vendors which luckily 1 vendor let me rent a stool to sit on for $2 so I could rest enough to get strength to get back to bus. Won't use this resort again...

"Loved most all the wildlife, the cenotes, and the natural jungle environment. The underground tunnels and suspension bridge are an excellent plus! The resort was undergoing a few renovations to restaurants during our stay but it didn’t negatively impact our stay.
