The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "Room was a good size ,but tv was placed at the side of the bed ¬ on a arm so you couldn't move to a better position so really bad neck ache.nice size shower but no pressure.The breakfast was a buffet we were expecting a breakfast menu,felt a bit like a free breakfast in a well known chain!very disappointing.had a meal in the pickled sprout which was excellent, would definitely recommend going there for a meal."

"The staff was very welcoming, especially the blonde woman on the front desk. She made our stay very memorable. The hotel itself was aesthetically furbished. Their spa facilities are impressive very modern and very relaxing. Paying for parking was the only issue. Other than that what a wonderful stay. Thank you"

"Great stay as a solo traveller. The room was lovely and just the right size, well-equipped and with a beautiful sea view. The food was good with plenty of choice and the evening entertainment was a highlight. I checked in online beforehand but still had to queue for quite a while on arrival, which could have been better organised. Overall though, a brilliant first stay and I’d return."

"The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are dated but have everything you need for the price. Breakfast was very good yoghurt, fruit, seeds etc and a full English. Spa area dated and could do with some updating but great small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice cave. Will stay there again."

"Disappointing - very dirty pee stained mattress. I’ve emailed the hotel twice to avoid leaving this negative feedback online - but no reply, so here goes … There was an odd smell in the small room, I pulled back the sheets to see a big yellow pee stain on the mattress on one side, along with other stains across mattress. The big pee stain had also transferred to the mattress protector, which suggests the protector was put on the bed while the stain was still damp! I told reception, no apology...
