"Great, easy access to major York tourist sites from the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with plentiful options. Near lots of either dining options in the old town and outside historic city gates, just down the street. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. "

"It was clean, quiet, and located near to all the place I wanted to go. The breakfast option for gluten free vegans wasn’t available. But everyone was friendly and I felt safe as a solo traveler. "

"Absolutely could not fault the staff. The room was clean and we enjoyed being close to York St John University and the shopping hub of the city centre. The food was okay although at breakfast there was sometimes bits missing or run out- no hot water for tea, run out of sausages, etc…. The staff were very attentive and the little texts to check in on us during our stay were lovely. "
