"Lovely designed rooms, felt very expensive and a touch of elegance too with bath salts robes etc…
Situated in a beautiful village with a lot of history, convenient to Scarborough too, a 40 min walk or a 4 minute drive away from the north side coast. "
"Really lovely place. Would’ve been handy to know we had to check in at the hotel next door 😁 we knocked and walked in on the neighboring property to try and find out where we were supposed to be. "
"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff.
The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.
Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much!"
"First class hotel in a lovely area with fabulous staff.
I work away from home 11 months of the year.
This hotel is one of the best.
Highly recommended by me.

Scarborough City Centre is a destination visitors seek out for its beaches, lively bars and seaside views. You might want to check out attractions like South Bay Beach or Mecca Bingo while you're exploring the neighbourhood.
We love staying in Scarbados its a little gem - step away from the amusements etc and just wander around the old town and both bays so much to see and do and great restaurants around if you do your research- great walks to be had too

Love Scarborough. Has lots of great theatre productions, beautiful beaches and lovely people. The town centre needs a bit of TLC and they seem to have cleaned the seagulls mess up a bit, but the town still has a lot of charm.

Scarborough town and South beach are very busy, being extremely touristy. Fun if that is what you are looking for. By contrast, North Beach is very quiet and a nice place to walk with parks next to the beach.

Scarborough is a lovely town, the sea front is extremely popular during the holiday season and for good reason. Lots of arcades, lovely sandy beaches, lots of nice places to eat and drink.

The beach is lovely and a walk around the front is very nice, plenty of shops in town, and the train station is easily accessible.

Scarborough beach is sandy and safe to swim. Our toddlers loved it. The town itself has some Victorian charm ans a decent number of shops to cater for most tastes.

It's a lovely little sea side town, with a lot of shops adjacent to the front. While we were there , their was a procession of tractors all dressed with fairy lights driving up and down the front in aid of some charity.
"I liked the location of the hotel I liked the room it was a family room with everything you needed in the room staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable "
"We enjoyed a great 5 days at The Sands. The accommodation was spacious enough for the three of us (2 adults and a toddler). The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways within close proximity. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. It is a fantastic location, with the gorgeous beach just a few steps away. Despite staying in peak season, it was really quiet at night and the livelier South Bay can be reached by bus or foot (if you like a walk). There are lots of toddler friendly points of interest near by such as the North Bay Railway, Splash park and Sealife Centre."
"Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%"
