"We had a lovely 2 night stay. The standard double was a good size. Large comfortable bed (two joined singles), modern bathroom with a generous shower. A fan was provided as it was very warm at night. Not the greatest view and the occasional noise of the bottle bins being emptied! The breakfast was a good selection with the added bonus of a great view. We loved the quirky ‘Yorkshire’ references. Ideal location. We used the train for a trip to Knaresborough."

"We stayed at the Bike and Boot Hotel in Scarborough for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the modern quirky decor. We had a medium sea view room which had a large king size bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a fantastic sea view from our window. It can be a little difficult at times to find a parking spot due to the number of hotels in the area. We did not stay for breakfast as we thought this was a little expensive. We would definitely stay here again as we loved the hotel's location and sea view. We are dog lovers so loved seeing the different types of dog around the hotel. All staff were friendly and there to assist if you needed help with the self check-in."

"Booked a last minute trip to Whitby. Not at all disappointed with The Royal - great stay. Friendly , helpful staff who have great recommendations of what to do at night. Excellent breakfast - plenty of choice and tasty. Lovely bar. Our room was spacious, great bathroom and comfy beds. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again. "
