"Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! "

"This apartment-style hotel is unique, a beautifully quiet place to stay in in Playa del Carmen by the beach, some distance from the down town area, with bikes to rent. As the room qualities are beautiful and nicely equipped, a free cooked breakfast is good, easy access to the top floor pool and rest area, low numbers of guests and a very very reasonable price, with personalized service for taxis etc., this is a great stay."

"Leider war Schlaf kaum möglich, da die ganze Nacht Bauarbeiten (laute Schleifarbeiten) am Nachbargebäude stattgefunden haben. Weiter ist das Wasser in der Dusche salzig und nicht warm. Wir sind daher einen Tag vorher angereist. Das Personal war wiederum sehr nett "

"Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip."

"Great location. Great room service. Pool bar is great. Decent proximity to the city. Beach could be better, but the seaweed is an act of nature. Overall, our room was great and appreciated that it was cleaned each day."

"Very nice rooms, all are re done. Buffet had large selection, but like any buffet they get tiring. Need to be on top of booking the restaurants. Lots of pools Need a bar open at the end by the beach in the evening, you have to walk all the way to the front."

"The rooms were spacious, and the entire hotel was kept very clean. The food was delicious and the workers were not aggressive at all for tips. They were accommodating with an early check-in and late checkout. Things they could improve: I think the dinner buffet should start at 5. 6 is way too late for little kids. I think the place to grab towels should open at 8am instead of 9. Other than that I really can’t complain. I would definitely go back. For kids I’d say it’s best suited for 8 years...
