"The hotel is beautiful, staff excellent, free breakfast great.. only complaint .. we were in suite 201… the only mirrors were in the bathroom.. my cousin was in suite 205… she had several mirrors in the suite and bathroom"

"The room was nice with a great view and access of downtown with little extra amenities that made it comfortable and it was very, very clean. we would highly recommend staying at this little jewel in downtown San Fran and will come back."

"Very clean, sweet, old timey but not depressing room. No view (unless you count the fire escape), window unit AC which we didn't use but would blow directly into one of the two beds. Claw foot bathtub shower with a curtain that feels a bit like a shroud surrounding you. Breakfast was just ok, dry scrambled eggs, a glacial paced toaster, but it's more than continental. The lobby, bar, elevator and hallways are charming and the staff is terrific. If you can get a room at the right price, book it. "
