The hotel is beautiful and the staff was excellent. Very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the remodel was very tasteful. My only issue was that the hotel is on the edge of the Tenderloin area in SF but it is also on the edge of downtown where there are many great shops, lots of transit and a huge amount of restaurants

The hotel was really sympathetic over my travel delays from the east coast and wasted no time to help me when I got kicked out my room. I would like to mention they waived certain fees due to the travel delays and that gesture alone spoke volumes.

Property is beautiful and rooms are great in central location. Air went out on property for an entire day & I had to ask about it and no discount offered. It was in August and hot! A little note about the issue would have gone a long way

Booked and paid for a King, was given a Queen. We arrived 15 minutes before official check-in time and were told the room wasn't ready. Left our bags, returned much later, and were told no Kings were available. No compensation has been offered. When I asked at checkout, was told the hotel had waived the Resort Fee (already waived by Expedia VIP Perks), then a credit at the restaurant (too late, I'm checking out). Why should I even have to ask for compensation? The Marker Hotel failed to provide what I paid extra for. Very pleasant check-in staff, but I feel that we should have been checked in when we arrived early, after all the hotel does have advance check-in.
