"The room was spotless. The staff was amazing! This was one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The two complementary cable car tickets were an added bonus, and we also went in the steam room to relax. 100/10 "

"The room and the bathroom were both super clean - the staff was friendly and the quirky amenities were super cool! The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere, which was amazing! The only thing I’d point out is the smell, which could be due to the age of the hotel - and although the shower and toilet had good water pressure, the sink did not. But overall it was a great experience and will for sure be staying here again during our next trip. "

"Very clean, sweet, old timey but not depressing room. No view (unless you count the fire escape), window unit AC which we didn't use but would blow directly into one of the two beds. Claw foot bathtub shower with a curtain that feels a bit like a shroud surrounding you. Breakfast was just ok, dry scrambled eggs, a glacial paced toaster, but it's more than continental. The lobby, bar, elevator and hallways are charming and the staff is terrific. If you can get a room at the right price, book it. "

"Housekeeping staff were amazing, super friendly and so helpful, rooms absolutely spotless, huge shower room in Rm 202 2nd floor, right next to elevator. Fab room as we had loads of cases & bags. Prime location, we actually walked to Ghiardelli square and Fisherman's Wharf from there, used Waymos quite a lot they were super fun 😁 The only con I have is for some unkown reason in San Francisco, folks like to roar about on motorbikes from about 7pm-12am ish and from our room, quite loud,...
