"What an interesting place to stay in SF. The owner and assistant were so much fun, interesting and helpful. In a location in mid-south ish part of the city close to everything we wanted to do. We will recommend this spot to anyone that wants a bed and breakfast and/or something with tremendous history, nice room and bathroom with everything you could need. "

"Excellent parking. I was surprised to return to my room and find the rooms are cleaned daily and new towels. The area is great for dining and very safe to walk around. Staff was very helpful. The trip was to support my granddaughter having surgery at UCSF Benioff. Driving to the hospital on 16th or 17th was recommended -it was a straight shot. Thanks for the excellent recommendation. "

"Overall The Grove was a great stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable & their check in/check out is simple. I appreciate that they offer luggage drop off & they also had our room ready a hour sooner than check in. Street parking is difficult to find but I was able to get a spot after doing some loops. I would stay here for my next visit."
