"A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! "ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. My husband and I brought our 7-year old for a 10-day trip in Italy. We explored Rome and Florence but the highlight of our entire experience was staying at Villa la Palagina. The surroundings are gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was so warm and gracious. It was the perfect getaway from the busy city centers. We booked a wine/olive oil tasting and we got to bring home a souvenir bottle that our son poured and corked directly from the barrel. While the furnishings in our villa were a bit rustic and outdated, the AC and main pools more than made up for it. Especially on those 95+ degree days. 5 stars across the board and I hope we get the chance to visit again!"
