Frequently asked questions

What is Setapak like for travellers on a budget?
Check out cheap places to stay in Setapak on Expedia.com and book a getaway that fits your budget. You can scroll through a wide selection of accommodation choices with Member Prices to score the best deal for you and earn rewards. Guided by our site's handy page filters, you can search by price per night, or by popular amenities like free parking and a swimming pool. Or, narrow down your search with the location filters to see reasonable options close to local sights. While you browse, click the heart button to save your favourites so that you can return to them easily and make your final decision. Need a flight or a rental car along with your hotel? Take a look at the Bundle and Save holiday packages and discover more amazing deals when you book your transport at the same time.
What is there to see and do in Setapak?
You don't have to spend a lot to find places to visit in Setapak. You can budget for the local attractions that interest you most, and then fill your itinerary with activities that cost little or nothing at all. Take in the local culture at Petrosains Science Discovery Centre and Sutra Dance Theatre, or visit other spots like Biomedical Museum.
How can I get to Setapak and get around on a budget?
Looking at these ways to get around Setapak is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The most convenient airport is Subang (SZB-Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah), 10.5 mi (16.9 km) away. If that doesn't suit your budget, the next closest is 29.8 mi (48 km) away: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). Setapak may not have many public transport choices so a rental car could be a reasonable alternative to see the area.
