"I like the Congress Plaza because it's still a reasonably priced downtown hotel that is close to a lot of downtown attractions. I didn't find the counter staff particularly professional, friendly, or helpful this particular visit. Was a bit disappointed by that. Otherwise, we liked our rooms (539 and 539A). Will be back. "

"I was doing a 4/20 event and booked so I had somewhere to shower. The room was small and tight, literally my only complaint. It was nice and quiet, hot showers, good water pressure, just a lil too cozy when the door is literally at the foot of the bad!"

"Free breakfast and free happy hour. I was there on business, and the breakfast conveniently got me going and the happy hour helped me to unwind a bit at the end of the day."

"The staff were GREAT to me and my friend and made our stay VERY comfortable! Our room was cheap and when our tv was messed up in the first room, they moved us to another room! Breakfast was great and FREE! Very quiet! My only cons were I wish the room in the pool were a little bit more clean but other than that! PERFECT!!!"

"The staff at this property was excellent. The facility was beautiful. The room provided exactly what it was described as. The area around the hostel was beautiful, safe, and near great coffee shops, bars, restaurants a little bit of shopping. Great walkable area but also easy to catch a ride form as well. Parking was hard to find and would have been impossible without the staff directing us to where the paid parking was located. Would recommend paying for the parking as there as rarely to...

"It is an old building, so there is a mild but bad smell just outside the restaurant. Maybe natural gas? I don't know what it is but it has always had the small and I have stayed here intermittently starting about 10 years ago."
