"Stayed at the River hotel for a concert in Chicago. The property itself is in a perfect location for downtown scenery. The room was clean and offered great amenities. The staff was helpful and even explained some tips and tricks to get the uber faster and how to get to the stadium. Overall a great stay"

"They don't have a frickin' thermostat and the AC is an archaic, barely functioning hunk of metal. The curtains don't keep out the light (and the street is very bright) and the noise from the street is barely quieted at all. The shower floor looked sketchy, so we showered in flip-flops. Aside from those (significant, at least for us) issues, everything was fine. The staff were responsive (when I called to ask for towels, I swear they were there in, like, 30 seconds, huge gold star to the...

"Amazing place to stay"

"Based off photos posted, I was interested in the hotel. Upon arrival, it was not what I expected. The room was very small, barely had a window and bathroom mirror. Not to mention, the bathroom was small as well. Just not at all worth the price. I did end up “upgrading” my room to the king room, there was much more space, but very old looking, again, not worth the price. The staff were nice though, very friendly and polite, so I’d give credit there."
