"Beautiful old building with spacious rooms but ambience and decor are stunted by poor management and maintenance. The bed frame was too big for the mattress, leaving a 1/2 foot gap all round the bed in which the meagre pillows often got lost. The mattress was too big for the bed linen. Everything seemed to be falling into disrepair - window screens with gaping holes, paint peeling off the walls. Our first morning there, they ran out of eggs at breakfast! "Could not fault my one night here. Lovely room, comfy bed, big tv, nice big shower and lots of hot water. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced, breakfast looked great but I had not enough time to stop and eat. This place is a great advert for staying in a country pub:-)"

My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees. "

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

Lo unico no tan bueno es el estado de las habitaciones, se las ve bastante viejas y les falta actualización. Cortinas viejas, cuarto de baño muy viejo, moqueta en el suelo muy antigua. Si embargo lo recomendaremos por el fantástico personal, por su trato agradable tan o en el checkin como en los desayunos. La limpieza de habitación estaba muy bien realizada....
