"Beautiful old building with spacious rooms but ambience and decor are stunted by poor management and maintenance. The bed frame was too big for the mattress, leaving a 1/2 foot gap all round the bed in which the meagre pillows often got lost. The mattress was too big for the bed linen. "Very basic and average hotel. Room is extremely small and location next to train railways. Always loud noise from railways, A/C was not working so to get fresh air had to open window. Bed is uncomfortable. breakfast plain: beans, eggs, ham and cereal and breads. Solo traveler on a budget probably OK but i will not stay there again. Consider this: bus/train stations 10 minutes walk, when it was rain the taxi, for less then a kilometer, cost me 11 UK pounds, or 18$. Food options around hotel are...

"Lovely stay! Walking distance to lots of resto, shops, bus and tube. Very convenient place. Room is clean, just a bit tiny for the family room. I guess thats the standard in here. Anna is so thoughtful giving me a bday card and cookies. Appreciate the gesture. Would def come back!"

"This is a decent hotel for what it is, as long as you you set your expectations accordingly. Booked this place because the brand names adjacent to Hammersmith station were all booked up. This place is fine in a pinch. Some rooms don't have elevator access. Location is quite convenient, and within walking distance to Hammersmith Station, and adjacent shopping and dining."
