"Cute location and very helpful staff but not well maintained or cleaned. We upgraded from a room to the farmhouse and it’s cute but not very clean or well maintained. One of the doors had a chunk of wood that fell off and in the morning light you could see dog tracks on the floor. We swept the place ourselves because there was detritus on the floor. "OK, I don't usually complain and write bad reviews, but there were a lot of areas of possible improvement. Firstly, it was not made clear to me that we were staying at Viejas Hotel, and not Willows (which is completely nonsmoking). My husband is allergic to smoke. We valet parked at Willows, the Valet parker asked our name and was not able to tell us that we were booked into Viejas. We then had to walk a long way with our heavy bags, from Willows to Viejas.
