"The staff was very helpful in providing a room before the usual 4:00PM check-in time. We were able to get situated, freshen up, rest and get ready for the Padres vs Dodgers game. The room was very clean, brought up to date and extremely comfortable. I love the fitness and yoga rooms. The location of Hotel Sofia is perfect; a nice equidistant walk to Little Italy, Gaslamp and the water."

"Overall a decent place. Only ended up having breakfast at the restaurant once, but it was good and easy to just charge to the room. Even though our room was right off the stairs it was still remarkably quiet. Appreciated having EV chargers onsite, even though Tesla network isn't the cheapest. Biggest drawback is the bed was HARD. I was in town for a competition and it was not easy to get comfortable to actually rest."

"The property is well maintained and the staff is very diligent about keeping on top of everything. Everyone was friendly and helpful when I needed it. A good thing to know is that there’s security roaming around the property particularly in the evening so if you’re concerned about safety that should help put your mind at ease, even just a little.
