"Dirty ants never resolved patio wasn’t private - by outdoor staircase people looking in room - an dsharwd with other rooms AND and puppy got into voltage area bc of gap! No room service, ice maker didn’t work, no vending machines and the cafe thing was rarely open! So so disappointed"

"Stay was awesome! Beautiful property and quiet property. Only issue was the map can be confusing to find areas if it's your first visit ... but the family loved it and I hope to be able to return again. Definitely recommend !"

"The resort is completely outdated. The rugs are old and dirty. The hotel is pet friendly to an extreme. There are dogs everywhere..... in the pool, in the store, in the beach....everywhere. Due to the rugs, there is a dog smell throughout the resort. The resort also borders the public beach that was filled with people living out of their cars and in tents. It did not feel safe at night. The location is beautiful and convenient to get to the San Diego Boardwalk. The restaurants on site were not...

"The beds were terrible, the ocean out front is unusable due to the raw sewage issue from Mexico, and our room had a view of the receiving dock where trucks ran all night. But the hotel itself is beautiful, iconic, and has great food, service and views. Food is, of course, compl overpriced."
