Also, there was a stain on our carpet in our room. Expect the pool to be full during summer break. Otherwise, the hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy family time."

"The room was fairly clean, although it smelled like mildew in there. I took pictures and reported a dead decaying mouse next to the pool, which the staff really didn’t seem to care about. The pool itself was green cloudy and the bottom of it was covered with slime. We literally had to go next-door to the Kings Inn. When I emailed the manager about it. He was rude and unhelpful. I highly recommend staying at the best Western in Escondido, that one is amazing… This one not so much."

"The room was very small and way, way overpriced. Carpet was dirty, it stained our socks. The bathroom is tiny with creaking water pipes. Very small air conditioner located away from the sleeping area. Took a long time to cool the room off. Was not impressed for the amount of money we spent. Also there was no mention of paying an extra $35 per night for parking. Would not recommend."

"We travel a lot and this was one of my favorite and most memorable stays yet! We stayed in one of the Victorian rooms and it was so beautiful and cozy. The whole resort is lovely and the beach sands are golden and glittery."

"They should probably place club before hotel in the title because this is absolutely a club during the day and a night, and a hotel second. Either way the hotel is perfect for a millennial getaway. I would not recommend asking anyone over the age of 40 to join. Emi the manager was so lovely and so was Rye the bartender. The hotel is a local destination for partygoers so it becomes a major club on Friday and Saturdays. Oh, and get to the pool at sunrise or you won’t get a seat. I really did...
