"Very comfortable room. layout of living room not ideal if you want to watch tv. Pools were amazing as was the gym. Very accomodating for guests. Restaurants has good food/prices. Farmers market & vendors of Monday was great. Activities looked good but didn't partake."

"Firstly the breakfast is available but for a charge. Parking is available for a charge Elevator is available but spend 10+ mins waiting for it. No vanity kit, no extra bathroom items even if 2-3 people are staying. Ideally in other 2/3/4 stars hotels they keep more based on the number of people staying but here it wasn't that way."

"The hotel is well located to the convention center in the Gaslamp District. The staff that I encountered was friendly. The amenities are tired. Millwork and furniture in the room was quite beat up. The room we had was touted as family friendly but ultimately a split toilet room shower room with frosted glass doors and panels is not for the fam… Confusion among the staff existed around the pool and pool bar open/available times. And know that noon to 6 on Saturday’s you can’t have anyone under...

"The Handlery is evidently an older property due for a facelift and renovation. The pool was nice, though I was looking forward to an actual swim up bar. The rooms are adequate, but could use a bit more deeper cleaning. There was a commotion in our building where we had to deal with noise disturbance by an irate guest. Front desk did say they were handling it."

"Front desk staff was not very welcoming But the security guard went beyond to help us find the pool. The pool was heated so thats was really nice but we couldn't find towels for the pool. The hotel was clean. Wished they serve breakfast."

"The room I stayed in was okay. It was outdated and needs to be refurbished. The bed was okay, there were more than enough pillows which I liked. The check in process was easy and the staff were very nice. The parking situation was a little nerve racking. The parking lot was not very wide so you have to be very careful when parking and leaving. The hotel was in a good area and close to where I needed to be."

"The property is a little bit older but we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a Bayview Junior suite and that was plenty of room for our family of 4. The pools were clean and towels were provided. Additionally, it was easy to access from the highway or beaches."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent. They have shrimp cocktail and omelette station for morning breakfast buffet. The ocean view was phenomenal. Best thing about it is the hour from 9am-12pm for the buffet."

"Our suite overlooking the marina was wonderful. Large with a sofa, table and two balconies. Thought it was ridiculous to have two balconies but it came in handy when the neighbor sitting on his baloney was way too noisy. Perfect for a relaxing stay."
