"Good"

"We had a wonderful time. Stayed at a few nights on top of the hill in the new renovated rooms, had a great kitchen, fridge, dishwasher everything we needed! Washer and dryer was a big plus! The view from our room was beautiful. Clean rooms! Only complaint was the room was not ready for us and traveling with a toddler so made things a little harder! Big resort !! The golf carts are very helpful and take you all over the resort. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!!"

"Honestly I was expecting much, much worse based on the reviews I had seen of this hotel so I was pleasantly surprised by most of the staff and the quality of the room. We were given our daily coffee vouchers, we had the same woman every morning and she was absolutely wonderful but I did not catch her name. We did have a cat with us, which I was a little worried about as the hotel policy says "pets" but when I called to confirm our details I was told "dogs" and that the dog could not be left in...

"The property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. I did not like all of the fees that were added on when we arrived that were not noted on Expedia. There was $150 per night resort fee and to have a microwave in your room it cost extra."

"Room carpet is older, toilet moves and closet ceiling leak water in the middle of night. I stayed the hotel because of work related seminar held on the premise. Otherwise wont be my first choice staying san diego."

"This is our second trip in which we have stayed at The Dana! We really enjoy it! Great restaurant with firepit tables, food is wonderful. Location is perfect to the beach and access to the freeway. We have booked the jr suite with a bay view, and this past trip was the marina view. We will definately be back!"

"Rooms were super nice and clean ac was great the fees are what’s ridiculous tho 100$ deposit after I already spent however much and then the pool is across the country and the size of a hot tub 20$ a night for parking is insane and theres like no walkability anywhere nearby worth something"

"The Staff is great, every one of them. The grounds are very meticulously maintained by the attentive groundskeepers (who are also very nice). The shower was fantastic! Excellent water pressure 👌 and the food was very good quality 👌 We’ve been here before, and we’ll be back for sure!"

"The hotel property is amazing and the room we stayed in had a terrific view of the original Hotel Del structure and the ocean. At night it was spectacular. The restaurant food was very good. It is not cheap but it is worth it. The staff was fantastic."

"A wild and funky place to stay. 4 stars because our sheets on the first night we got to the room were dirty but housekeeping brought fresh ones, but didn’t really seem apologetic. Also the valet parking gets extremely backed up and had long wait times to get cars. Otherwise the amenities were great and the staff was friendly."
