"The staff was so nice but there is no clear number to call for things, I had to go down to the front desk to ask for blankets and utensils. The keycard reader for my room kept falling off?? The pool is so tiny and my room didn’t even have a microwave. For as expensive as it is I did expect more. The property was clean & comfortable but at the end of the day very average, far too overpriced."

"We stayed in a double queen junior suite with Bay view. Stunning. We came in at the height of a heat wave with major humidity which made the room damp. Staff were amazing, brought up.fans, provided free drink tickets. The pools were beautiful. Onsite paddle board rental. Discount tickets to the zoo Everyone was incredible. 10/10"

"We really wanted to love this place. Everyone we encountered working was lovely— when we got service from them. We had dinner plans in the evening and when we needed to iron garments, we realized we had an iron but no ironing board. We called for one to be brought up and were told it would be 10-20 minutes. At 25 minutes, we called again. They finally brought one up and we only just made our reservation. We took the do not disturb sign off the door in the morning and didn’t receive turndown...

"The best way to describe this stay is to call it "regrettable". I don’t visit San Diego often but when I do, I usually stay at the Marriott Marquis about a quarter of a mile away from the Hilton. I normally have a somewhat pleasant stay there. My son and his crew happened to be staying at the Hilton, so I decided I would do the same. The place had a distinctly musty smell throughout.
