"This is a tough review for me because there is nothing negative to say. The staff is really great, everywhere is very clean, and there are an abundance of things to do. We stayed in a Villa suite and it was comfortable. I especially like that the bathrooms have real doors and separate door for the toilet. That’s important when you have family staying together. "My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. When I checked into my room, I discovered that one of the beds was wet with what appeared to be urine. In addition, the carpet throughout the room had a strong urine odor. This was unacceptable and made the room feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. I expected a clean and properly inspected room before check-in, but that was clearly not the case. "We came for a concert at Padre Stadium and the location was so fantastic. We could walk to so many great destinations. The staff were friendly, helpful and available. We had a really great trip and greatly enjoyed and appreciated our stay at The Hard Rock San Diego. Thanks for contributing to a wonderful experience."

"It was absolutely disgusting, the floors were so sticky my shoe came off, it stunk, the elevator didn't work and we got stuck, the security guard had to circle the property because it felt sketchy. The lights in the lobby are falling apart. It was by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We left 2 nights early and frantically searched for something that wasn't so gross"
