"My family and I love coming here at this Welk , it’s very close to home plus live the location . This Weekend was a nice for my husband and I with no grandkids, we both enjoyed coming just to getaway and enjoy a nice quiet weekend We had a wonderful dinner meal and drinks and the bar enjoyed talking to other guests staying there as well with the bartender she she very nice and friendly. "I had to literally kick my door open to get into my room. I went to the office & they switched my room. There was pubic hair in the shower, on the floor and in the bed. No comforter was available so thank god I brought a blanket. Super squeaky bed, facet water smelled like sewer, the wifi was so bad that the tv was pretty much static. People had brought their dirty couches and placed them outside and there were tons of shady people wandering in the parking lot. Unfortunately my property managers...

"Great stay in downtown San Diego! The newly remodeled room was very comfortable, modern, and well-maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of the Gaslamp Quarter, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, and attractions downtown. The location is also excellent for exploring the rest of San Diego, with an easy drive to both La Jolla and the Pacific beaches. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, and I would definitely stay here again."

"Our room was right next to the staff supply room (many rooms are near these supply rooms) which means we heard banging, doors slamming, power washers and other loud machinery throughout the day. The adjoining wall with the staff supply room had loud banging audible until 11pm. My husband works from home, and the room service opened the door and tried to enter without knocking/ knocked as they were entering. Very disrespectful. They also added at 22$ per night “resort fee” which was not listed in...

"My family and I truly enjoyed our stay."

"Room was clean. Everything else was pretty broken down. And they were apparently out of body wash in the entire place. When I asked the front desk staff they gave me shampoo and told me it’s basically the same thing. For about $200 a night, I expect a bit more."
