"I love it "

"Very noisy location right next to freeway, earplugs helped but did not completely block the sound. Room smelled stale, kitchenette was poorly equipped unless you just plan to use the microwave, no metal utensils to use the stove or ceramic bowls for hot food. Basic past its best hotel. Pool and hot tub were ok. It is somewhat convenient for bus or trolley transport, to other parts of the city. Staff were helpful. Internet speed / wifi was poor, affecting both laptop and tv service."

"I liked the location of the hotel near all tourist attractions like Balboa Park, San Diego zoo, Little Italy and more. The rooms were cleaned and had a nice view of the marina. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good too. The cons; the hotel was booked due to convention's, checking took long, valet took long to have your car ready, there was lines to get in the elevators and stopped at multiple floors, with kids that was very difficult since they have no patience. "

"My stay here was amazing the staff was nice and attentive, room was clean with an amazing view. Next time we will stay on the marina side although the bay view was peaceful and beautiful I believe it’s more restaurants to choose from. I definitely plan to stay here again!"

"Activities at the pool were not that great. Need more imagination with pool games and prizes. Otter pops are not very healthy and kids would rather have something memorable they can take home. Front desk staff were hanging out I. The back office while checking in was over 30 minutes with one person behind the desk. Pools and grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Beds were fine but furniture not comfortable at all … needs an upgrade. The Grill restaurant served my child a kids meal that was inedible… burnt to a crisp…she ate peanut butter and jelly at the villa out of desperation… I took pictures of it called and complained but no resolution. Asked for a late exit on Friday was told to call in the morning as the request is based on occupancy… called in the morning and was denied and told it was up to the cleaning department, called them and they said that was news to them. The gentleman called us back stating they changed their mind and we could have late ck out at 11:00. Stories don’t jive . That part was frustrating."
