"This hotel is located in the city centre. We have stayed here repeatedly over the years. The room is basic with not much space, and the place has no frills; but if you are looking to stay in a convenient location and have access to doing laundry, then this hotel works very nicely. Our local friends sometimes tease us about staying here, but I tell them ll I need is to be able to have a well located place to sleep. This fits that bill."

"My 2nd stay at this unique old mansion that's been converted into a comfortable hotel. This time my room was very compact BUT it had all I needed for a short stay. Excellent location, and breakfast included. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom, all scrupulously clean. I wish there was a lift but staff always willing to help with luggage. I thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"This place was great ! In a great location and the rooms were very well maintained. The management were very professional and friendly. The restaurant and food were great and very reasonably priced. The first time in my many years eating on pubs that a medium - rare steak was actually cooked to medium rare. The only point I would make is the bar staff could do with a few lessons in etiquette and customer relations but hey that is young people these days :)"
