"Great value stay. Breakfast was great with a selection of hot food and lots of fruit options. Front desk and maintenance staff were very nice and were working hard. Room was a university dorm with a lot of wear and tear, but that is reflected in the price. Lots of buses and about a 25min walk to Old Town."

"Pleasant, welcoming and fit for purpose. Condition of communal area tatty and bathroom could be cleaner. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and great to have Sainsburys and bus stop near by. Superb for park and Arthur's seat, access to Royal Mile and train station. All in all - I would stay again. Price reflects accomodation and clearly states it is not a hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh."

"Superbly located capsule hotel. Previously the Picadilly Hostel, now recently renovated into Zedwell Capsule Hotel - not to be confused with the co-owned Zedwell Hotel around the corner. At time of visiting, the branding hadn’t fully transitioned to Zedwell. Capsules have comfy beds, a dimmable light, air-conditioning, USB and electrical socket and a privacy screen which can be locked from the inside and outside (using your own padlock). Capsules are either ground level, or up some stairs...

"Basic, spotless accommodation with Morrison next to you for cheap parking and any provisions. Stayed for a concert during Edinburghs busy time (when it’s it not) however prices for hotels are normally hiked up! But we managed to get it at a decent rate. "

"Great hostel. You pay a little bit extra than you would for others but it is so worth it for here. Second time staying here after once in 2023 and this time round was even better. Since my last stay they’ve added curtains to all beds as well as a fan and a safe in each bunk. Only pitfall is the rooms can be quite stuffy depsite the fans. "It was amazing! Comfy cosy beds, with curtains that fully block out the light. As per some reviews saying the music from downstris / outside was loud I brought headphones which did massively help!! (Eventhough it was was Tuesday night lol) friendly staff easy location. Locker in bed area, and belongings felt safe! Recommend "
