"Most amazing experience, super dog friendly and staff are very welcoming and was very nice and welcoming to my dog. They had a dog menu at the pub which was really nice. The room was so beautiful I wanted to stay longer. The bathroom design is so unique loved it very much. Definitely coming back soon. I had a welcome card and some treats on the desk for me and had a dog package with a really nice shampoo and some dog treats along with a bed and feeding bowls already in the room before I came which made my experience much easier. The air conditioning was one of my favourite things."

"Newish hotel, very modern with touchscreen light and air con controls in room, took a minute to work it out but after that all works really well. Rooms are compact but perfectly comfortable and have everything you need and it all works well. We stayed on a very warm night in July and air con was brilliant. Good location a couple.of.minutes walk from Southgate tube station and piccadilly line so easy to get around. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The hotel website is very open about the bar being alcohol free. "

"This was our second stay at The Royal Oak, and it was just as good as last time. It was very hot weather and the room already had a Dyson fan going when we checked in. We asked for another fan if possible and that was swiftly provided. The staff are so friendly and make staying here a joy. We were early enough to have a meal and take part in the Tuesday Quiz Night (came second, nice prize) and had such a fun evening. Just down the road is Highams Park station which we used to get into central London. So easy to do. Thank you to all the staff that made the stay a great one!"
