"Nice but aged property. Ordered food is good. Buffet is average. I don't write reviews but giving them a 2 star because of their business model. They are part of the "Palace" resorts and push memberships when you arrive and throughout your stay. Memberships= Timeshare. 80% of all chairs by the pool were reserved for Platinum "members". We had a total of 6 rooms including a governors suite. I had to go down at 7 AM and put personal items on second rate chairs by the pool or nothing would be...

"It has a great beach."

"Good location, but was woken up at 2:30am by a group that seemed to be fighting drunk. When i asked the staff the day after what had happened they said there was a flight cancelled. They should have requested the other guests to be mindful of the others due to the noise, but they didn’t do anything about it. The pool, only open from 4pm, was closed for maintenance at 5pm and the gym is very very basic."

"Excellent stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful even with a last minute reservation. Right next to praia Caracol, a small beach where super friendly locals come to swim and standup paddle. Also right next to the Caracol Ultramar Ferry which was very convenient for us. It's front of a Starbucks and a Supermarket. Not a fancy stay but very comfortable and clean! A/C also worked well."

"Rooms so clean staff are great family and friendly beach was dirty too much sea weed need to be clean every day bc we pay money to be in that resort Mexican and Italian restaurants are good but waiting time like 45 - 1 hour …open buffet I will give it 3 star and the azol restaurant it’s vey bad don’t deserve the waiting time at all good not cocked right and I talked to the maneger there and she can’t do nothing all what they said sorry …pools side they need more shades and they put the cabanas...

"We enjoyed Altitude so much. Friendly staff and great accommodations. Reyna was wonderful keeping the room spotless. The pools were relaxing and clean. We enjoyed the variety of food at the restaurants and the buffet. Even though sargassum was abundant we found pockets of clear beautiful water and waves."

"Property is great and the service as well but the beach is not what it looks like on the pictures. It is not good for kids as there are lots of rocks."

"Resort was under some remodeling that we weren’t aware of. Consequently some restaurants were closed which limited our eating option a lot. I would go again because the staff offered excellent service, are very kind and hardworking. The resort is self is beautiful, rooms were comfortable and clean. I would like to go when all is the remodeling is done."
