Our room bed was very bad for sleeping and not comfortable at all. Otherwise all cleaning and food was ok.

Staff all very attentive, Hotel in great location, really good cocktails. Booked deluxe room - first one we had was 632, tiny but with beautiful sea view. The next day we asked to move to a room with 2 beds (2 friends not wanting to sleep in the same bed) and that was no problem. The room we were moved to - 2202- probably 3-4 times the size of the first, 2 huge beds and still had partial sea view. We went to check with reception that it was still a deluxe room and were told it was. I'm still confused how the rooms could have been so different but classed the same grade.

Das Personal war überall super nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben sogar netterweise ein upgrade für unser Zimmer bekommen. Das Essen am Strand war mega lecker. Ich empfehle jeden die Avocado mit Thunfisch. Das Hauptrestaurant war leider nicht so gut. Die Auswahl an Gerichten/ Salaten war etwas zu gering. Vor allem wenn man Vegetarier ist, hat man ein Problem 😔 Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Urlaub sehr zufrieden. Der Strand ist ein Traum!

Let me start from the beginning. Right when we pulled up the first impresion was that this place needed and facelift. Checking in was strange.First the man who was checking us in could not speak very good English and when we got to our room it had two queen beds and not one king size bed.Went back down to desk to let them know we upgraded to a jr suite and we were told that was a request not a for sure thing!Our room was bare bones with two beds and one small chair and a small refrigerator.That's it!Very poor lighting in room also.Expedia said this was an all inclusive hotel but it was not at all!No room service and special things on the menu were not included as was some of the drinks.Had to make reservations for the two resturants they had but almost impossible to get in before 9 at night.Way to late to eat.Only two resturants to eat at.One buffet which the food was always warm to cool not hot! The lunch eatry was usually not very hot and with our goup of six we got out meals at different times and they never brought the dessert we ordered!Now on to the pool.Only one not so big pool for everyone.Only 24 chairs around the pool for the whole hotel and they were always covered with towel so very hard to get a chair unless you got up before the sunrise to get one. Also there was water aerobics at 12 and volley ball at 2 which both of them took up most of the pool so no room to swim or relax in the pool at that time which was most of the afternoon.Much more to tell but no more r

The staff was so welcoming and lovely, always serving with a smile and super attentive. Our room was fantastic, with stunning ocean views, spot on clean and modern, with all we needed: safe box, wardrobe, chairs, air con, great shower... This hotel exceeded our expecations. Not being a fan of the Zona Hotelera, this hotel really inmerse you into a Caribbean experience where you feel absolutely spoilt. I can't fault anything. The buffet was pretty decent quality and very varied, with options for everyone. I would highly recommend it.

We did not get the class of room we booked. The noise and view were horrible large industrial fans outside the room were so loud and that was also the view. Unhelpful unfriendly staff and most did not speak English. No entertainment venue just loud music in lobby bar. Couldn’t get drinks in restaurants except beer or wine. Didn’t even have Kahlua anywhere. Only 24 pool chairs for 400+ guests. Buffet food was barely warm. I could go on and on. Would not recommend or ever stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at NYX Cancun. My sister and I went for a girls trip. It was very clean, the food was good, very close to everything (shopping malls, pharmacy). We did not use any of the spa services. The waiters and waitresses were fantastic. We participated in some of the activities which was a lot of fun as well, those staff are also super kind. A few things that could have been better - there is no dresser to put your clothes, they only have bottled water in the fridge in the rooms (not something you could get at the bars/restaurants), the schedule for which restaurants are open on certain days were not disclosed to us. Thankfully we went to the sushi night the night before as it was not open Mondays. They also didn’t tell us the themed meals for the Buffett ahead of time. Not ideal for those traveling with small children. Overall, the complaints are minimal and we had a great time. I’ve already told others to stay at the resort and I’d absolutely come back!

Overall, NYX Hotel Cancun is a good hotel in an excellent location. The property is clean, well-maintained, and sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms were clean and well serviced, with housekeeping doing a consistently good job. The beachfront is a major highlight—wide, beautiful sand with plenty of amenities and space to relax. The location is also convenient to nearby shopping and restaurants. The biggest drawback was the food. Most meals were marginal at best, and even the specialty restaurants did not meet expectations. After the first couple of days, we chose to eat off-property for most lunches and dinners, though breakfast was generally acceptable. In summary, if you’re looking for a clean hotel in a great location with a beautiful beach, NYX is a solid option. However, if food quality is a top priority for your all-inclusive stay, you may be disappointed.

The staff that took care of cabs Golf, etc. were complete morons they should not be doing their jobs didn’t have a clue what they were doing ended up booking our own Uber and taking care of our own Golf, your front desk was amazing. Very very helpful people.

There was too many stairs, pool not big enough, not enough shade by the beach. Food - no after hours place to get a snack, food. Coffee bar had to pay.

On our first day we had some issues with our room (clogged toiled, bad smell) and they were very accomodating and moved us immediately, the man we spoke to was empathetic and happy to help. The second room we had was perfect, cannot recommend the balcony/ocean view enough. I definitely feel like it would have been a very different experience if we had been stuck in the first room, so very grateful for the move. Water pressure/heat was awesome. Our cleaning lady was amazing, she definitely went the extra mile (cute toilet paper designs, pompoms on the bed) every time she cleaned our room. The staff were all very personable and charismatic. Even those who didn't speak english were happy and polite. Those that did were easy to talk to and helped us any time we needed it. The servers helped recommend drinks and food, all of the shows were fun to watch. We went to all the food demonstrations and the DJ (Rodrigo) would make them extra fun and entertaining. There was another worker (Francesco) who would come play games and talk with everyone, my whole family loved him. But one of the staff members (Stephanie) definitely stood out, she made the trip for all of us, I can't say enough good things about her. She had my whole family up and involved in events (water volleyball, bracelets, aquasize), helped us pick out excursions, and giving us restaurant and snack recommendations. She was always around socializing and making our stay extra special. Overall a very memorable experience!

Beach was beautiful and service in the beach was great. The food was not good though. Hibachi was good but they only seat 30 per night so we had to eat at ten. We paid really cheap for the trip so it wasn’t that bad, but it’s not a place you want to spend a lot of money on. The coffee shop wasn’t included and I had to pay 7 dollars to get one. For all inclusive, I feel like everything should be included.

I have stayed at four different resorts in the hotel district this winter. NYX is the only one I will go back to, and will. Every single employee makes you feel at home. Fast easy check in. All the food was outstanding. The Beach is clean and plenty of lounge chairs. Big clean pool. My wife really enjoyed the walk to the mall every day. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

The rooms were a great size. We were initially placed on the PB floor, which was a bit musty. Switching rooms was somewhat complicated, but the staff did make an effort by bringing in a dehumidifier. The only setback was dining, as we were a family of 10 and accommodations were limited. Overall, it’s a small, quaint, and clean place. I would stay again, but with a much smaller group.

The room was not what we had reserved. There was only partial view and had bad odor in the bathroom. When we complained the next morning, the staff ( David) was very helpful and changed our room to a much nicer room for which we are very thankful. The hotel was nice but had too many steps or a ramp to reach the front door. Similarly there were too many steps or a ramp to go to the beach and the lunch area and specialty restaurants. This hotel may not be suitable for seniors with mobility issues. My wife and I are seniors. There were sea weeds on the beach that were not cleared. They put a hold on our visa credit card for 3000 pesos on arrival, which is perfectly normal. However on check-out instead of removing the hold they put through the transaction ( a debit and a credit) on our credit card. That was a mistake because we got charged bank charges by the credit card company. After we got back we complained to the hotel. They didn't seem to understand. So I called Visa. They understood that the hotel had made a mistake and thankfully Visa agreed to cancel the charges.

I work for Hilton Hotel and my husband works for Best Western hotel so we are very educated in Hospitality . The room was amazing! We upgraded with the help of Alejandro at front desk. My Grandaughters room was not very pleasant so again Alejandro immediately changed her to another room which was fabulous, he was exceptional at making guests comfortable and solving problems. We had quite a few issues when we arrived but the staff here was incredible in making sure our stay was great Another absolutely incredible staff member was Stephanie, she coordinated the water games and karaoke etc. She was so friendly and took time to introduce herself and include everyone. She is a gem. Daniel at Chianti was an incredible server and made us feel like Royalty. Hugo in the buffet restaurant always remembered our drink orders.The staff at this Hotel are exceptional!

We stayed at Hotel NYX for our honeymoon for eight nights and were very pleased with our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would gladly return. Our room was modern, spotless, and well maintained by housekeeping. The hotel also provided thoughtful honeymoon extras, including a door banner, swan towels with rose petals, champagne, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Our room faced Boulevard Kukulcán, which was busy and noisy in the evenings. While noticeable at first, white noise helped at night and we adjusted after a couple of days. All restaurants were good, with the buffet standing out. A few meals were underwhelming, but this was rare. The café was nice, though we wished more options were included in the all-inclusive, such as cold brew or iced coffee, and some days it was difficult to get coffee. Facilities and common areas were extremely clean. Bartenders were fast and friendly. Beach access was excellent, though some guests ignored no-smoking signage and lounge chair rules. The pool was well sized and never felt crowded, and the hot tubs were a great amenity. Interiors, landscaping, and staff were all excellent. Overall, Hotel NYX was clean, relaxing, and welcoming, with only minor drawbacks. We would recommend it and would happily return.
