All of the things that made this place special 7 years ago on our honeymoon (now under new ownership) are still present today. This is our favorite boutique, intimate resort in the area. The hospitality is unmatched anywhere else. The rooms are spacious and the remodeled bathrooms were a big plus. There are excellent food options for all 3 meals and no reservations are required. The exclusive diamond club bar and restaurant (Qin Qin) were well worth the upgrade. We could go on... but in short - we can't wait to return! Everybody we met was extremely friendly and helpful, and we owe special recognition to these people for making our stay perfect Ze and Roy in the main bar. A true highlight for us. Great cocktails and even better conservation with these two every day of our stay JJ in the diamond club bar, and Enrique and Edwin at Qin Qin. Our dinner service was excellent and all 3 made our evening a ton of fun Alberto at the morning smoothie station and pool bar Our butlers Norma and Cath General manager Cesar Landy at poolside service Rosa at breakfast and dinner service Alex at the check in desk The people make the experience and we will miss everyone. Had a truly memorable and unforgettable time at the resort. The property is beautiful with lots of cute animals, the food every day is excellent, and the service is simply wonderful. Our butlers, Norma & Cath, attended to everything that we needed quickly, and Francisco treated us every night with special, delicious dishes. We felt like princesses at the hotel! Would totally recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing, peaceful getaway.

Our stay was truly exceptional and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail made it clear that this is a very special place. A heartfelt thank you to the concierge team, Rodrigo and Norma, who were outstanding throughout our stay. They were attentive, thoughtful, and ensured that every detail was perfectly arranged, making our experience completely seamless. One of the most memorable highlights was an extraordinary private dinner arranged for us. Chef Elizabeth prepared an absolutely incredible meal — every course was beautifully crafted and delicious. German, the restaurant manager, orchestrated the evening perfectly and created an intimate, elegant atmosphere that made the entire experience unforgettable. Our room was impeccable, the food across the resort was consistently outstanding, and the pools and grounds were absolutely stunning — beautifully maintained and incredibly peaceful. Every part of the property reflects the care and quality that defines a truly luxury experience. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable stay. We cannot wait to return.

This was our second visit to the property since the renovation and rebrand and we once again had a truly excellent vacation. Team members were all professional and welcoming. The food and beverage selection well exceeded our expectations; our room (complete with Frette linens and Byredo amenities) was perfectly clean with a lovely sea view; and the pool and grounds were beautifully maintained.

We stayed about a week. Very secluded away from the noise. Very quiet and relaxing. Minimal entertainment which is fine for us. Cancun and Playa del Carmen are fairly close by Uber or Taxi. Excellent service, personalized. Butlers are excellent. Pools are beautiful. Food is ok. Definitely recommend.

It was the perfect place for a quiet escape — peaceful, elegant, and incredibly relaxing. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, and I truly appreciated that there was no loud party atmosphere, just calm surroundings. The staff was warm and friendly throughout my stay, and the food was good. I especially appreciated that all meals are served à la carte — no buffets — which made the experience feel more elevated and enjoyable. The beach was clean with minimal seaweed during my stay at the end of February, and my evening sunset walks quickly became a favorite ritual. I would happily return.

We had such a great stay from February 2nd to February 8th. Our room was spotless and exactly as pictured. Spacious, beautiful, and with amazing views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate each day. Our butler, Fernando, and the GM, Cesar, were truly exceptional. They checked in on us regularly and made sure we felt taken care of the entire time. The level of service really stood out. The resort is peaceful and leans toward a quieter, more mature crowd, which made it perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the calm, relaxing atmosphere. The beach access is just steps away, which was such a bonus. We did have a brief issue with lukewarm water in our room, but it was resolved immediately. The team even offered us a Bali bed and champagne as a courtesy, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The food and overall service were wonderful. The only minor downside was the cooler weather during our stay, which of course had nothing to do with the resort. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with attentive service, we would absolutely recommend staying here.

Led by Séniors Eduardo and Brendon, the lineup of personnel at our arrival was like a family welcoming us back, instantly creating a warm feeling. Our luxurious two-bedroom suite, just steps from the beach, was a serene oasis adorned with exquisite decor and breathtaking ocean views. While maintenance issues required attention, they did not detract from the overall experience. The immaculate shoreline, free from sargassum, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation, allowing us to unwind and embrace the beauty around us. Dining at the resort was again a culinary journey that delighted our senses. Each meal was a masterpiece, with Sénior Eduardo ensuring our dining experiences remained extraordinary. The flavors burst with freshness and creativity, showcasing local ingredients that danced on our palates. Our dedicated butlers, Norma and Rodrigo, pampered us with genuine care, making us feel like cherished friends. A highlight was the soothing spa massage treatment, offering a rejuvenating experience that left us feeling revitalized. With skilled therapists and a tranquil ambiance, it was a blissful escape we eagerly anticipated. General Manager Cesar’s commitment to hospitality shone brightly throughout our stay, ensuring every detail enhanced our experience. The BEST RELAXING EVER! I was warmly greeted upon entering, shown the property and was waited on hand and foot. Enrique Levya, Norma, who took great care of me. Made sure I was well accommodated. Yessenia that gave my the BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. The grounds of the property that is curated for relaxation and peace. What a wonderful job all team and staff did. Will definitely be back!

The luxurious spacious Hacienda style suites, just steps away from the beach, offered an oasis of comfort and elegance. Each morning, we were greeted by thoughtful housekeeping staff, and the tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by lush surroundings, created the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The boutique luxury resort beautifully showcases Mexican culture with a delightful mix of old and new designs, adding visual interest and comfort. While some areas are a work in progress, this only enhances the charm of the property. Dining was thoughtfully curated and exceptionally tasteful, with Eduardo M. ensuring we dined like royalty and Ritchie’s cappuccinos starting our mornings perfectly. Every member of the resort truly cares, providing top-notch service. Our butlers—Norma, Cath, Rodrigo, Vanz, and Enrique—pampered us like family. Eduardo Q. made us feel like the only guests, and Karen, the concierge, was always thoughtful with recommendations. Sofia, the star parrot, brought smiles with her greetings. General Manager Cesar embodies hospitality, treating us like family. In every corner of Paraiso De la Bonita, we found warmth, beauty, and unparalleled service. I was very underwhelmed with my stay having been to two other all inclusive hotels in the area. Firstly, the beach here is practically unusable and this is not clear when booking. Chairs are not even setup on the beach, I just pulled one down since I didn’t want to be trapped at the pool all day. The parrot, Sofia, seems unhealthy and poorly cared for. She is given little attention, toys, or activities. You can see she is covered with pin feathers too. This is addressed in other reviews and am saddened there is not better care provided. I will say the staff is friendly and tries to be attentive but there isn’t much for them to do. The resort is so small there is not much need for a butler service. During my stay I had a worker come into my room without waiting for me to tell them to wait, as I was indisposed. I have never had this happen in a hotel before and was shocked the worker just came in. While the buildings were updated, the door to my room was not fitted properly. I could see the sunlight coming in, along with mosquitoes. This also made it difficult for the air conditioning to work well. Additionally, I was served raw chicken for dinner and when I said something was told that it was a chicken thigh, not a breast. That didn’t matter to me, raw is raw. I would not recommend this place to others and am sure you can find something nicer.
