Room was nice, nothing fancy or anything considered 4star, but comfortable. No bugs, or leaking water anywhere. Grounds were good, lots of wildlife. Pools ok, could use a good cleaning on the pool floors, but it was a little cool so we didn’t get in-just sat at the side with our legs in. We weren’t at the beach area that much, although we would have liked to be. Seemed to be not enough chairs and very crowded, so mostly stayed at the pools. Food was decent, better than expected. We didn’t do any of the restaurants, just didn’t want to go to the extra effort of doing all that. Our butler was good, very nice. Didn’t see him much, but if we reached out to him he replied almost immediately. We were there between Christmas and New Years, NYE dinner was a cluster. Too many people all in the same area at once, so very long lines and wait time to get into buffet to be seated, then to get food from buffet. Wasn’t impressed, left and went to room and had room service. Room service food as expected, mediocre. Would possibly return, but thinking for slightly more $$ could be at a much nicer place next time. Not bad for the $ we paid, but lacking in some areas. We did have a good time so that’s all that really matters I guess.
