"We had a wonderful experience at this old, inclusive hotel from the amenities in their room to the staff and the restaurants. The only thing I was disappointed is the beach location and wifi access. Beach in front of hotel has erosion barriers and rocks. I would definitely stay here again if I didn’t care about getting out of the hotel to go to the beach, but with so many hotels available to choose from, I will try a different one next time. "

"The Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancún vibe is very relaxed and the place was spotless. Staff without exception were great starting with an "ask" on checking in that was accomodated followed by room service as were arrived later in the evening. The pool was a bit chilly as weather during our week was chilly too but we enjoyed each of the restaurants, the spa and used a bali bed on the beach for our last full day (really worth it if we join family/grandkids there next time!) Thank you to all the staff that made this an awesome trip!"

"We had a great time! It was a girls' trip for the family, and the resort had all the amenities we needed. The beach was very well kept, no sign of all the seaweed others were talking about. Our rooms were well-maintained and cleaned. The service was incredible! Gustavo at the swim-up bar and Antonio by the beach were so friendly and accommodating. The app was very helpful for making reservations and scheduling many events and activities. The nightly shows were so impressive, especially the Michael Jackson tribute! The buffet was meh, but I don't usually expect too much from that. We dined at the Teppanyaki, Italian, and Mexican restaurants. The Italian was my favorite. I loved the spacious lobby and the plenty of lounge seating. "
