"Our recent stay in Hotel Smeraldo was excellent. The hotel’s location is terrific - the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, various Roman Forums and Coliseum are walkable. "The property is located block away from Vatican. We walked from our hotel to colosseum and city central, less than an hour of walking. Lots of delicious restaurants and shops. It’s not the crazy city central, yet in the city. The hotel has breakfast- I loved it. Delicious food and coffee to start your day. Staff are nice and room was clean and exceeded our expectation, very recommended. If we come back, I would stay there again. "

"It was ok. We booked this hotel because it had a spa, my wife has a spinal problem and usually swims everyday, nowhere does it say that it costs 98 euros per hour. Also thdcroif terrace dose not open until 17:30 so there is no outside space until then"

"I’m order to manage all the gadgets in the room you had to download the code on your phone! DUH. There were no written instructions in the room except for the safe which didn’t work. The TV wasn’t connected and after the technical staff (it took 3 men) hooked it up it still didn’t work. "
