"In hindsight, it was not the hotel for us. Being in the middle of Myeongdong seemed to be a good idea at the time and the fact is, you don’t need to be in such close proximity and transport like the subway is very efficient and very cheap. "

"Clean room, staff helpful "

"The hotel was very conveniently located, the staff were helpful. There were limited amenities in the room - the furniture and overall condition of the room was tired but very clean. The A/C had a mind of its own and either did not work or was unable to handle the weather since the room was either freezing or much too warm - my impression was that the controls in the room did nothing and it was operated by some outside force. Room service was very prompt and delicious. We called to order an iron and it arrived very swiftly. The room was very technologically enabled and we were able to order anything we needed via the tablet in the room, which was cool. Also all the lighting (and A/C, theoretically) was controllable via a control panel next to the bed, which was also neat. The windows were large but they had some sort of modern shell retrofit to the building so your view out is set back a foot or so from the actual exterior. There was a convenience store right next door which was great. It was necessary to close the curtains at night as there was a large display on the building across the street that remained on all night and flashing lights would come in the window. Overall our stay was pleasant. "

"I expected that I would be treated as “one of them” since this hotel is located in the middle of Myeondong and it was very busy. However, Jinny Kim and other staff provided us comfort. For example, I realized we wouldn’t be able to have breakfast when we arrived at the hotel as we needed to leave early for the following morning. Despite it was a last minute notice, Jinny did the best she could. She prepared bags of snack for us. The snack helped us on the busy trip to DMZ! She was awesome!"

"Grate location, clean and comfortable "

"Property location is 10/10, which is the best part about this hotel. The rooms are extremely tiny, no amenities, the elevator is very slow and requires a long wait most of the time. The breakfast is on the 27th floor which provides nice views, but the selection isn’t great and the coffee machine had the “needs cleaning light” on all week. Coffee was undrinkable. Overall the hotel is okay - location is awesome, but otherwise underwhelming. "
