"The room was great, quiet and clean. Everything we needed the hotel staff was accommodating. No questions asked regarding our pet. The hotel location is nice since it's right in the heart of many shopping centers, close by to the locations that we as a family needed. The amenities were fine such as the pool. Parking is only secure to benefit the hotel but, we had a fine stay."

"Clean room- no!!! The hardwood floor was so dirty our feet turned black and so did the towel outside the shower door! Mirrors hung had broken frames, and the room smelled like smoke! Staff- rude! Came knocking on our room door asking what’s going on as if we had done something wrong. Said that we were stomping and yelling, which is total false. She even threatened to call the police on us. Parking- minimal. But there was some! Air conditioning- not too powerful!"

"The staff and bar were the best part of this stay. The bartenders were excellent and the valet staff incredible! The front desk staff is hit and miss. There’s a Kevin hart looking guy that is rude every time I’m there, but the others are friendly and helpful. Other than that, the rooms are mostly just ok if you’re a “the hotel is just where we’re sleeping” kinda traveler. Nothing nice and minimal amenities."

"Went there after our wedding and the staff was extremely welcoming, took our luggage from the car to the room. Took pictures of us both in the gorgeous lobby and crossing the hotel threshold. Extremely splendid experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury stay."

"Rooms were both clean and ready for occupancy. Requested additional towels and received them quickly. Breakfast was a bit pricy. Our boys enjoyed the pool very, very much."

"We had the standard room which didn't have a full view of the Marina, but we had a partial view that was still very nice. Rooms and lobby area were cozy, clean and well maintained. Appreciated that there was microwave, small fridge and coffee station; also a laundry room. Additionally we really appreciated the free parking! Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed staying at this little hotel. Only complaint would be on the second day, the bedsheets were not changed and they ran out of washcloths."

"The room was good. However bathroom fan was extremely loud. I was very disappointed that they really don’t have breakfast. There were 2 prices listed so I paid more for “breakfast included” and they had stopped serving breakfast. They put out wrapped pastries and muffins. That pricing should be changed."

"We were in to visit our Uncle for a few days who lives in San Francisco and went to the Hampton Inn in Alameda by the airport, due to how reasonable the price was vs staying in San Francisco…EXCELLENT service, amenities and even though we were near the airport, this was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed at!! The people working there were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely look forward to returning."

"Hotel Shattuck is perfectly located near UC Berkeley and the BART station. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. My daughter and I stayed for three days and were very surprised that our room was cleaned daily. The restaurant offered different meal options and it had an awesome ambiance. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Booked through Expedia and payed in full. Nowhere in the property description did it disclose any age restrictions. I was refused entry at check in due to my age and was promised a refund. A week later I still have not received a refund and they have not answered any of my messages."

"The price and quality of the hotel was a good match for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The was nice, comfortable, and everything worked appropriately. The neighborhood had plenty to choose from fir shopping, dining, and entertainment. In my case the walk to the train station was tricky due to the numerous overpasses that surrounds the area and Google maps telling me to down streets that we're not passable."

"Came here about 15years ago and the stay is much nice then some of the stays over in that area. I find it a weird that they charge to park outside and no security guards to watch the cars. But that’s how life goes. "
