"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Excelsior. This was our first time in Venice and the first stay of our honeymoon and it was a great experience! We enjoyed using the provided boat taxi to and from Venice, along with the private beach access and dining options at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was also great. We would recommend this stay for a trip to Venice!"

"A wonderful hotel on The Lido. Perfect for a city/beach break. Lovely staff, a very nice pool area. Although, we preferred the Blue Moon beach club. Water taxis too and from Venice and the airport. Our only criticism was the pillows were quite hard. Not our choice. Also, their ‘cosy’ cheapest room was roomy and had everything we needed. No need to spend more on a bigger room. We didn’t add breakfast, quite expensive and there are restaurants and cafes around. "

"Die Unterkunft ist dicht am Strand. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und abwechslungsreich. Was nicht so schön war, dass ein Vorhang Schimmelflecken hatte und das man teilweise die Klimaanlage nicht selber steuern kann sondern bei der Rezeption nachfragen muss."

"We loved this place! It's an excellent value for Venice. The hotel is quiet and in front of the beach. It is well connected to the main island. The bus, in front of the hotel, runs every 20 minutes and gets you to the main Lido ferry station where you can take many ferries to the main island."
