"It was great. The employees were very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. We would definitely stay there again. The only downfall was the AC system but it’s probably just because we are not use to Japan heat. Overall this place is AMAZING! "

"Very basic hotel bordering on a Homestay rather than a hotel. Room was comfortable and we appreciated the kitchenette and washing machine. Close to Kyoto station so transportation was great. The area was nice and quiet - in a neighborhood but many food options in the station and of course 7/11 nearby. Towel changing was a bit inconvenient if you woke up late and missed the 10 am cutoff. Overall, it was safe, clean and quiet but if you’re looking for more of a hotel feel this likely isn’t for...

"The place is not too close to transportation, but it is quiet, comfortable, easy check in with physical person, and offer coin washer and dryer which is nice. The space for the value is extremely good. Lots of space for family of 4 or 5 in one room. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights. It's a nice hotel with a 7 mins bus ride to the Kyoto station. 17 mins if you prefer to walk. The bus stop is 1 minute from the hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel."

"Fint hotel i gå afstand, eller meget kort bus eller metro tur, til mange templer, shopping og bambus skov. Man tjekker ind et sted inde ved Kyoto station og så kører de en ud til hotellet. Detter er vældig smart hvis man kommer med tog fx. Shinkansen. Men ellers kan det måske godt være en lille ulempe."

"This was by far our favourite accommodation in Japan. The manager was amazing and the accommodation was spacious, traditional but will all of the modern facilities. We loved it and wished we had spent more time here. In fact, once we moved to Osaka, we travelled back twice to spend time in this area and a little town called Sanjo. "
