"Having access to our own washing machine and drier in our room was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a car but the distance to the nearest bus stop and shops was easily walkable. Wonderful view!"

"Our host Vicki and her team were delightful and very helpful. After checking in, Vicki grabbed an umbrella as it was raining and walked with me back to the car to help us get our luggage. It's the first accommodation ever that the host told us not to do the dishes.. "you're on holiday, you shouldn't have to do dishes, we'll give you clean crockery & cutlery each morning." Exceptional. "The Sherwood was amazing big time into sustainability & the hotel has an amazing restaurant has a 2 hat rating, you certainly cant fault the food. My husband & I stayed 3 nights, the staff are amazing & very helpful nothing was a problem. Not all rooms have a TV but clean & inviting, no electric blankets but speak to staff at reception & they'll help you out with a hottie"

"Just a short 10-minute drive from town, this hotel was perfect for us! We loved waking up to stunning snowy mountain views every morning. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchenette had everything we needed for breakfast—really handy. It’s close to shops and a supermarket, and with daily room service, our stay was completely relaxing and stress-free. Highly recommend!"

"Keep your expectations realistic and you won’t be disappointed. It’s an older property and in a state of disrepair. It could definitely benefit from a major renovation. Kitchen is a bit primitive, bathroom ceiling could use some work. However, you can’t beat the location and the view. Comfortable bed and great staff. I’d stay here again despite the rustic qualities."
