My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay. Not only did the staff go out of their to make us feel like family but so did the regulars that have been going there for years. It was our first “au natural” experience and we definitely picked the right place. Food was great and they have a staff working around the clock to make sure everything is clean. Honestly can’t wait to book our next stay.

Another great visit. The airport shuttle is easy to organize and easy to find. The drivers are friendly and helpful, as is the Lomas Travel staff. The hotel remains wonderful. We cannot say enough about the staff. They are efficient, helpful, warm, and very friendly. There are too many wonderful people to mention by name, but it starts with Ula and we’ll stop there with individual names. Not a slight to the others, just they are all so great that it is an injustice to name them and inadvertently omit someone. We always relax and enjoy the hotel, and the guests (many of whom return year after year) are almost to a person very nice. On top of that, the location on the ocean and the views are spectacular. We will continue to return as long as we remain able.

We love it there. The staff is amazing, the food is decent, and the activities people become your best friend in a short period of time. However, the rooms are extremely tired and there is really no place to go when it rains other than your room. Of course the room has no balcony either so you can’t really enjoy outside without having a swim out suite. I feel after 6 visits that the place should be torn down and started over. The fact is that for almost all of the returning guests is plainly the ability to be nude 24-7 and an amazing staff.

We liked the property a lot. Room, staff and food were amazing, We went in with higher expectations as to what kind of crowd would be there. Primarily a senior dominated resort. If you want a nice quiet experience this is probably your place.

Service was top-notch. Food was good. Cenote tour was wonderful. Only downfall was there was absolutely no hot water pressure. I would go back in the future if that were fixed.

Super anniversary!

This was our 42nd anniversary, and we could not have spent it in a better way. Great food, good drinks and good entertainment plus the most relaxing place to be. From check in to check out we were amazed. We were there for the third time and only the cost keeps it from being more frequent

A welcoming place for a Nakation. The staff is incredible. The $175 VIP per room credit was just a series of $10 and $20 discounts for various services such as spa treatments.

We just spend a 4 night trip to the hotel, it was way much better than we expect! The staff is amazing! The room too, we met really nice people and want to come back right away! Everything was just perfect, our new happy place. Esperanza and Angel were so amazing. Only thing to improve is maybe the food, for us was like 7/10, just ate at hotel ( never went to El Dorado ) See you soon for sure and thank you very much!

Very relaxing, casual environment. For "newbies" to an au natural resort, it was mild and comfortable. Lovely pool area; awesome oceanfront covered beach beds; ambient music was soft and relaxing; the entire staff was awesome; bed in room was super comfortable; A/C in room kept us cool. Only negatives were the slow plumbing, an unremarkable fitness center, and in reality - no real place to get into the ocean.

We enjoyed having the option of using the sister properties. We actually spent more time there as they had plenty of activities. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Food was great and our room was wonderful. You can fly into Tulum or Cancun airport. If you do, make your own reservations for shuttle service as their taxi prices were much higher than what we actually paid to get to the hotel. They do offer free shuttle service to Cancun airport but not Tulum airport.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and the sweetest people. Overall it is a quiet and chill resort but a beautiful property. You will have access to the sister properties for more night life and dining options but those are clothing required. Would definitely recommend private car trans it’s only $100 each way and still a 80 ride to airport. It’s an older crowd when we went but a few our age (45/50)

It is the staff that makes this place so special. Of course, being nude is a highlight as well. The facilities are tired and need to be upgraded. It is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms lack in almost every aspect. They are small, 2nd floor for the most part have no balconies, the furniture is worn, and some of the tiles have been replaced, don't match, and have chipped on the adjoining pieces. The beach is almost non-existent so it is Hidden. I'd still return and I love it but some things need to change.

Our stay at HBR was not good. The guests were great as were the wait/cook staff, but that is about all. The management/owners were a nightmare. The food was not good. We had 1 good meal in 7 days. We arrived with some minor ailments only to find that the OTC meds we needed from the giftshop would cost a ridiculous amount. We negotiated a membership and shared a hand-shake with the salesman only to have the deal cancelled by management. This ended up being good as we discovered we had the best deal in the house and it was from Orbitz. We spent 2.5 hrs on this deal. I had a minor injury at the pool and was told I had a broken finger by a “lifeguard” who did not speak English, and needed to go to the hospital. When I refused I was bombarded with legal forms, and they refused to give me a half-used roll tape so I could wrap my finger. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

The staff and service here are the best you could possibly find anywhere. If I would give 10 stars for the service if that was possible. The grounds are a lovely lush tropical oasis and beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is pretty standard all inclusive fare but well presented and plentiful. Guests have the option of making a reservation to put on clothes and walk over to the much larger hotel next door to eat in one of the restaurants there. It’s the same ownership so similar food with an expanded menu, but nice to have the choice. The vibe here is very laid back and relaxed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s an older crowd for the most part with a big group of regulars who have been coming there for years. The buildings do have some minor issues and could use a facelift. The roof in our room leaked during a tropical shower and the plumbing, while completely functional, obviously needs some repairs. It is an isolated location over an hr from the airport and not close to any tourist attractions. Good for those looking to be away from the crowds of Cancun and Riviera Maya but expect a substantial taxi bill to go anywhere else.

All of the staff was amazing... kind, helpful, professional, and always going the extra mile. The property in all areas was extremely clean and the food and drinks were amazing. Well above par with other resorts. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for: There was a "Takeover" event by, I believe, a swinger group and they were cliquee and not really the including kind. They left halfway through our stay and glad they did. Real naturalist came and it was a great time after that. Find out when the castaways will be there and don't go! *Property maintenance: -The toilets had a lot of problems flushing and with water pressure. -The smaller windows in the room were almost falling out of the walls when opened. -It rained extremely hard one night and water was pouring in through the large windows. It took 7 very large beach towels to clean it up and they were saturated. Maintenance guy came and basically said "nothing to do about it, sorry" and left. -While I walking through the property by the pool that was over it's edge from the rain, I got a jolt of electricity from a nearby light pole. *Communication: Events and activity communication was very lacking. The app was not updated to reflect the correct events happening throughout the days and nights. We would like to have gotten an itinerary of events and themes occurring during our stay when we checked in. Most of the happenings we found out from other guests. Despite the issues it was still an amazing experience.
