We had a great 2 weeks! The staff all worked hard to meet any needs we had. The food was good for an AI. We stayed on the seaside , the only complaint was the walls between the rooms we not sound proof at all. If I were to come back I would stay on the Palms side.

Room was clean, staff were super attentive and great besides the man running the taco stand by the Palms lobby, he was a little annoyed when serving. Driftwood and La Carreta were our favorite restaurant. We ate there everyday.

Initially had a swim out room on the seaside suite side of the resort. If you don’t want to constantly hear loud music and screaming 24/7 I would highly recommend booking on the palm side of the resort. It is a night and day difference and so peaceful and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for! All the staff were super accommodating and friendly, the palm side of the resort is a lot nicer and more of the restaurants are on that side as well as access to all pools. Our trip was changed for the better immediately after changing to the palm side of the resort and had no complaints once being switched. Excellent service, lots of food options, cabanas everywhere, and beautiful.

Lobby was beautiful and smelled so good! Property lush and full of palm trees and flowers and well maintained. Room was clean and ocean view was amazing. Beach on Palms side gorgeous and nice for snorkeling. Shows at night fun and well organized (loved fire show!) Beach BBQ and Arrifces delicious…highly recommended. Didn’t like the food at Mia Casa nor La Caretta….skip those. Staff was amazing!! All of them! Housekeeping and room service both great. Pools clean and fun and plenty of seating options!

This was our second stay at El Dorado and we will definitely be back again. The staff are incredible and so kind. The food is amazing and there’s so many options.
