Really easy hotel to stay at. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it. Staff were really helpful and it was cheap and easy for us to stay a few extra hours. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Comfortable beds and rooms.

Property is fantastic, new and clean rooms. Breakfast was very disappointing as it’s not really a hotel breakfast and you’re limited to the quantity as well. If you are looking to walk and explore the George Town area you will be disappointed as it’s a bit far and would need to take a taxi. Overall decent place if your visiting but not very convenient location to the action

Comfortable stay, good as it it centralised

We stayed at the golden sands by shangri-la in penang 5th to 8th of july. We had a beach /pool facing room which i would strongly recommend. Rooms are spacious and clean, buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food, plenty of pool activities and areas of entertainment for kids,I would highly recommend this hotel to any type of visitor

Really enjoyed this hotel, clean and comfortable, great location. Shame the pool was getting renovated while we were there.

Resort was amazing, great facilities, room was clean, spacious and provided all amenities. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Housekeeper Sabbir was amazing.
