"At check-in, I noticed that the young male staff member assisting the guest in front of us was friendly and explained the breakfast location and hours. However, the older male staff member who checked us in did not greet us. He scanned our passports and asked, “Just one night?” He then asked whether we wanted to pay the city tax by card or cash. "Excellent location, right by the Pompeii ruins entrance. Food in the restaurant was excellent, both in quality, quantity and price. Our room was pleasant, albeit slightly dated. It was clean, plenty of towels in the bathroom and the shower was excellent. We missed having tea and coffee facilities in the room and a complimentary bottle of water would have been a nice touch."
