The hotel is vastly overpriced for the amount of amenities and quality of services it provides. The room we got was a King Room on the corner of the floor, which had a slanted layout and was also very small. The TV was tilted forward and was an awkward viewing experience. As our room was on the 35th floor and there were only two elevators servicing the entire hotel, it was agonizing waiting for the elevators. Furthermore, despite ordering a King sized room, the bed itself was too short for someone who is 6 feet tall! The pillow cases, bed sheets, toilet paper and towels were low quality, scratchy material... something you would expect out of a cheap motel instead. Our smoke alarm was beeping through the night, we had to call room service to fix it and it took them two appointments to fix (which they did but with some inconvenience). The rooms were not at all soundproof, the maids were making loud noises while servicing rooms on the floor which woke us up. The check in lobby being on the 2nd floor versus the Ground floor is extremely awkward and gives a poor impression.
The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because the location of the hotel is legitimately good, right at the heart of Downtown near the Staten Island/Statue of Liberty ferries.
