"For the most part, our stay was enjoyable at Ocean Allure. As beautiful and as lovely the staff are at the resort, we personally would not come back. Super friendly staff who go above a beyond. Isai at the main pool bar, Alessa at guest services, and Jason in the buffet area stood out the most to us. We loved the food at the restaurants! Do expect an average 45 minute wait to get into the restaurants as there is no dinner buffet. Breakfast/lunch buffet was usually good. There was the odd two...

"Pros: pools are nice, bartenders give good service, rooms are large and clean, easy for kids to eat whenever they want. The beach is actually very nice with cabanas for shade and good service from The bartenders. Long and difficult check in, food is not great at all, drinks never taste that good. Long waits for eating dinner bc you can’t make a reservation so be prepared to show up early and wait for very mediocre food. "

"The room was fairly clean, the shower was a little dirty and the sink kept clogging. The electricity was also not working well so some of the lights would not turn on and the outlets would not work at times. "

"Ocean view is the only thing good . Pay a little more money and get something nice . Maid service is extra . The windows and doors do not secure and whistle all night .the internet is terrible . Airlines changed our flight and hotel would not refund the 2 days . Has to be one of the oldest places on the strip . I don’t recommend this place at all . "

"Perfect size rooms for family of five, calm waters, peaceful feel. Went to Royal sands more action, larger pools, strong waves. Enjoyed our time. Decent food and reservation restaurants had very good food. "

"The door key is a wrist band. Every time we left the room we had to go to the front desk to reset the key. This was quite annoying. "

"The experience was disappointing overall. The food didn’t taste fresh. On top of that, some of the Punta bar staff were rude and not very welcoming, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Definitely not a place I’d rush back to."
