Most Romantic Hotels in Carson City

"We arrived at 5:30pm, check-in is a 3pm. We went to our room and the door was cracked open. We quickly realized that it hadn't been properly cleaned. There was no bedding, no towels, the floors were not vacuumed, and the place hadn't been wiped down. I alerted the front desk, they informed me that their housekeeper had called out and that there were some other workers doing the cleaning that day. Two women came to our room to fix the bed and provide towels. They were friendly, apologetic, and helpful. They asked if we wanted the room vacuumed and wiped down but I couldn't stick around to have them do it because we had to leave for our dinner plans, so they left me some cleaner and paper towels so I could wipe it down myself if I so choose. It was a good while after check-in so it was disappointing to arrive to a room that has not been properly cleaned, and I did not have time to wait around for them to do it. The room itself was spacious. It had a small stove/oven, large fridge, sink, living room area, and separate bedroom. They had breakfast in the morning but I did not get to try it because we had to leave before 7am. The parking lot is small, not a lot of spaces, and the spaces themselves are tight. Location seemed good but we did not go around Carson City much. Price was good, I booked two days before my reservation and paid $108. Something to note, the main building in the front is under renovation and is not opened. You need to check in at the building in the back."

"Very nice facility, but as with so many "resorts" now, there are many add-on charges beyond what the room rate originally appears. We did have an excellent meal and service at the Osteria Sierra restaurant at the hotel. "
