"Nice enough hotel with nicely decorated communal areas and a great bar, the breakfast was very nice, my main issue was the room was very dated, with bathroom tiles falling off the wall, a slow draining sink and the shower head was very low down, Room 302
I also think the car parking charge for every hour after 14:00 on the day of departure a bit poor"

Where they get five stars from I can’t imagine. Definitely will not stay there again. Mould all over windows which had condensation on them in the morning."
"Lovely very clean room with everything you would expect, helpful staff at check in, great choices at breakfast, english, continental, cereals, fruit all fresh. Parking bit hit miss dependent upon how booked hotel is but usually clears early evening. Very handy for trips into York , handy bus stop right outside with great services."

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay and would return again in the future. We liked the location just outside York and with a Park & Ride just a few minutes away. The hotel is nice and staff helpful. The room we had was larger than most and had all the usual facilities (including a fridge), the decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up, also the bathroom needed updating. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it at the price we payed."
