"Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. "

"If you want a relaxed break this is a great hotel to book, just come back from a weekend away. What a joy to stay somewhere with such amazing staff. Room was lovely very clean comfy bed. Great breakfast we also dined in the restaurant and bar which was really nice. Had a three hour spa to finish off our stay. Will definitely be back."

"The room was lovely, and our stay massively exceeded our expectations including an evening dip in the hot tub and then using the hotel bar for games. The staff made everything that much more special for my girlfriend (now fiancé) birthday and for our engagement during our stay too to put the extra special touches in. "The Inn at South Stainley Stayed one night only Stayed in room 6 in the annexe, a short stride from the main building. Super king bed, spacious warm and welcoming room, spotless . Good size bathroom with both rain shower and body shower. Complimentary toiletries including shower caps! Dressing gowns and slippers, a lovely touch).
