. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and was adequately furnished. The bathroom was a little tired but it was clean enough. For the price point I couldn't really fault the hotel. I'd return to the hotel on my next visit to York and hope that I could book a room in the new extension. "

"This hotel is great and we couldn’t fault our stay until check out time..... we had already paid for the hotel prior to our stay yet we were asked to pay again for the room! Apparently the hotel has recently changed hands and there is some issue with the accounts transferring over so the hotel isn’t currently receiving the payments people are paying ( going to the old company). We politely explained that this was not our issue and we wouldn’t be paying for the room twice!! This just put a...
