"Perfectly located (quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but right next to it all for ease of access). The room was spacious. Staff was kind and welcoming and helped us with our needs any time we needed it. All provided at a reasonable price given the location and the space in the room."

"Clean room and bathroom well equiped. There were only two of us in the room. I think three would have been too tight. The room had a single and double bed. Very quiet at night, close to lots of restaurants and the tram was only a minute or two away to get into the centre. A good place to stay for a short visit and reasonably priced."

"It was very confusing checking in, make sure you try to message the host and check the pdf they sent you before check in. I don't like that they make you and all your guests scan your passport in to check in. Best part of our room was that we had a back entrance that led to parking. We were in room 25. "We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and water hot in the shower. Very good breakfast was included. Easy 25 minute leisurely stroll to Edinburgh Castle through a nice neighbourhood. The Haymarket train, bus & tram station was 5 minute walk to this guest house. We arrived via train from Glasgow. At the end of our trip we took the Tram to the airport. So this is in a convenient location for getting around. Lots of restaurants and 2 pubs near the train station. Would stay...

"I stayed in a single ensuite room with a garden view. It was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The only little thing about the ensuite was the sink was tiny, so whenever I used it the water spilled all over the floor! Also when I pulled the blind down, it was a bit stained. But overall a very comfortable room for one person. The guest house is also in a great location for access to town or Marchmont/Morningside in the other direction. Bus stops are only 5...

"It definitely pays to read all communication from the hotel prior to arrival. Then you get the check-in instructions beforehand. Otherwise, a decent hotel in a lovely part of Glasgow, just across the road from the Botanic Gardens and a stone's throw from the vibrant West End. Lovely freshly made breakfast, and friendly staff serving. The room was basic, but clean and served its purpose. Up in the gods mind you, a bit of a climb!"

"The actual room was fairly clean with a decent shower and toilet and good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Quite a bit of traffic noise from the main road. The building and surroundings are very run down, I wasn't even sure the pub was open to go in and collect the key as the windows had bars on them and the hanging sign was empty. Needs a bit of a paint job. Parking was dodgy, surrounded by bins, rubbish and just not very clear where to park."
