"The bed was so comfortable after a long journey! The shower was hot and the neighborhood very quiet. We never knew other guests were here until our breakfast and David was very accommodating and gracious and we enjoyed dining with the other travellers. "Quaint stone house converted in to a 10 room hotel. These are quite common in Edinburgh, and there are quite a few of them in the same area. Recently renovated and clean. The other guests were all quite which was nice. A short distance from the action of the Royal Mile, about 10 min by buses that run ever few minutes. WiFi was very slow, but other then that it was a great place to stay and I would stay here again."

"Very comfortable stay and amazing breakfast. We stayed here just one night to get to and from Edinburgh airport. The X18 bus comes right to the property (1hr ride) for about £5 or you can take a cab (25min) for about £40. We were pleased to see there were plenty of fast food places around that are open until 11pm or midnight - not all small towns in Scotland are like this. Only downside is we could not find an email address with which to contact the hosts during our travels, and since we don't...
