"it's an old hotel. everything is old fashion while that's probably for all hotels in Venice. The location is good, right next to the Rialto bridge. however, it's so crowded day and night. so many boats stop and leave....so you can't really open the window for fresh air....The breakfast is minimum. one good thing is they do have American style shower with curtain!!!! thanks god. i don't understand why most of Europe hotels has only half glass in the bath. However, there are still no window...

"Easy journey to Marco Polo airport from the Carnival hotel on the Aliaguna water bus to Guglie a short walk from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants and aperitif places on the canal outside the hotel. Easy access to all the main sites from Tri Archi vaporetto stop outside the hotel. Much cheaper to get a two or three or more days, water bus pass for as many journeys that you want to take each day. Good safe local neighbourhood to wander about including evenings."
