"Excellent stay at Dornoch Station, along with our dog. Hotel and staff very dog friendly. Breakfast service on the first day (with our dog, in the lounge) was incredibly slow; but second day (without our dog, in the restaurant) was speedy. Quality of food and drinks excellent! "

"Fantastic stay the shepherds hut, which was much larger than expected and beautifully appointed. The facilities in the hotel are excellent. The restaurant was great and the spa and outdoor pool was fantastic. The massage by the Spanish lady was one of the best I’ve had. We also took the ferry over to Tarbert one afternoon, which was 20 minutes away and just glorious. I’d go back in a heartbeat!"

"The accommodation was spotless. Very comfortable bed, nice crisp bed linen. Loved the welcome pack. All staff went out of their way to be helpful. Loved the pool. Basic tasty food at the Muddy duck. So quiet and peaceful. A haven of nature, full of birdsong. Would definitely stay again. Very good value for money"

"Beautiful & charming hotel! I was staying on business had been working in central london all day and to arrive at Monkey Island was exactly what i needed after a hard day! Its a true hidden gem. Will definatley stay again. The peacocks were especially charming part to this hotel."
