"We loved our stay at Areca, we had a room on the ground floor and it was sheer luxury, spacious, beautiful tiles on the floor, high ceiling, lovely period furniture, fans and air conditioner and a shower that was truly magnificent. We loved the afternoon teas and all the delights that were served. Your staff are extremely polite and courteous. We stayed for a week and would be happy to return. Thank you Areca. "

"Arrived late on the check in date but was greeted with tea time even though it was after tea time session. stay was excellent with clean and quiet bedroom. breakfast was great as well with mixture of local and western food. overall a great stay within a great location. things to improve: cant lock toilet door, and the sliding door is noisy. parking is also inconvenient."

"Good hotel and nice location. The room is big and I like the free breakfast too. Within walking distance to many eatery and it’s in the UNESCO area so nice to walk around The room comes with a big king size bed,chairs, table, wardrobe and coffee tea making facility. Downside is not many channels to choose from, the bed is a little hard and room is very dusty. When I go into my bed, I can see lots of dust flying around. Bathroom and amenities are good. "The room was wonderful. Very clean, modern, and spacious. Although the hotel is a little ways from the historical downtown, you can take the free bus (CAT) and get off at stop 11 and from there the hotel is less than a10 min walk. CAT made it very easy to get anywhere in town from the hotel. The only negative was the wifi was awful. It was constantly dropping and I had to reconnect multiple times each session. "

"Great location - walkable to Nasi Minang near Caltex, nasi kandar line clear and many others. Brand new hotel so everything is nice and clean. Room was not too big but enough for 2. Parking is onsite. Plenty of plug points in the room to charge devices. Comfortable bed. The minimalist Scandinavian interior decor is very pleasing. Coway water machine is available near the lift (no bottled water in room). The negatives are - kettle, cups and spoons are provided but not coffee. So bring your own....
